If you would like to venture out and make your own DIY eye serum, this recipe is for you! I decided I wanted to save myself some money after a lady at a counter tried to sell me on a neck and eye serum for preventing wrinkles. I can not believe how much they want to charge for that stuff. But us women are willing to spend to get the good stuff right?
5 Natural Ways to Fight Aging
- Eat Organic Food- Organic means the food has not been genetically modified and is grown without synthetic pesticides, so you are putting fewer toxins into your body.
- Detox. Cleanse those free radicals and oxidation out of your system that cause aging. See the Classes page for some cleanses.
- Take care of yourself, de-stress, take up yoga, meditating and deep breathing, working out and massages, lots of massages!
- Lots of water! We are mostly water and if you are dehydrated your skin will suffer.
- Take good vitamin and mineral supplements, especially vitamin C.
That’s a pretty good list, work through the make a switch page, raise your frequency thus changing your DNA and who would age? Of course this is a process and a lifelong journey. But at least you’re on the path.
DIY Eye Serum Recipe: Goddess Eye Serum
Goddess Eye Serum
- Vitamin E Oil
- Carrot Seed Oil
- Rose hip Oil
- Primrose Oil
- Vitamin C
- Almond Oil
- 5 drops Frankincense Oil
- 5 drops Sandalwood Oil
- 5 drops Lavender Oil
- 5 drops Myrrh Oil
- 5 drops Helichrysum Oil
or
Add 25 drops of the Immortelle Oil, and skip the last 5 oils.
I add a little bit of the above into this tiny, cute glass dropper bottle. I use a couple of drops around my eyes (never in them), the corners of my mouth and my forehead.
Here is where I got everything.
How to Make and Use Your DIY Eye Serum
- Fill your bottle about halfway with the carrier oils (vitamin E, carrot seed, rosehip, primrose and almond), using roughly equal amounts of each.
- Add the essential oils, or the Immortelle blend, then top it off with more carrier oil.
- Shake well before each use.
- Apply at night to clean skin. Gently pat a couple of drops around the eye area with your ring finger, never pulling or rubbing.
Always do a patch test on your inner arm first, keep the serum out of your eyes, and stop using it if you notice any irritation.
