The pure orange blossom or neroli is steam distilled from the blossoms of the bitter orange tree. Orange blossom is gentle, with anti-inflammatory properties. Orange blossom is added to prepare skin for the absorption of facial oils. The blossom naturally includes a mood enhancing and anti depressing floral citrus scent that touches the heart center.

Intoxicating Rose is added because it is gentle and powerful at the same time. Rose has the highest frequency and has been known to have so many benefits for the skin. The petals of the rose helps to retain moisture and restore the skin’s protective PH mantle. Rose naturally tightens and tones the skin, with its anti-inflammatory properties. Immortelle is produced by steam distillation of helichrysum flowers. Helichrysum italicum is a flowering plant of the daisy family Asteraceae. Helichrysum italicum known by many names, all relating to light and longevity. Known as “everlasting”, “sun gold” and “flower of the sun”. Immortelle has a long history of medicinal and topical use. Generally found in the Mediterranean and southern Europe, the sun gold has been used for centuries for the use hair and skin.

The ancient Romans and Greeks decorated the statues of gods with wreaths of Helichrysum flower heads, a practice mentioned by classic writers since the 7th century BCE. Helichrysum italicum is famous and valued for its scent, which has been referred to as rosy, exotic, and spicy. The peculiar odor note was mentioned in the 1st century CE by Pliny the Elder, who, in his work Naturalis Historia, described it as not-at-all unpleasant and as being able to protect clothes from moths.
