I have been writing about how important it is for our DNA and our cells for us to have less stress and anxiety. Less of fear and judgement. If we are going to go about changing our beliefs and our lifestyle, then we must finding something better, more positive to replace our negative habits with.

Only you will know in which area of your life you need to work with first to do this. Wether it is negative thoughts, fear of the world, stress of going going going, emotions and drama you bring from your perceptions. We all need to finding something more positive we can do instead. I have been thinking lately, of how smart it was in the 19th century when they had scheduled tea times.

If we are trying to de-stress our lives and live with less anxiety, the easiest way to do this is with deep breathing and meditation. What if… you had a scheduled time everyday to sit and breathe, take a break, re-center and meditate? I am not talking an hour but it can be as little as 20 minutes or less. We need to bring back scheduled tea times! For our mental, emotional, spiritual and physical health. In the 19th century they had, breakfast tea, afternoon tea, high tea etc. There were so many times for them to re balance in the day. Adding in a bedtime tea is a great idea too. I think the best one they did was the afternoon tea.

Having a time in the middle of your day to re-center would drastically improve our health in all the four areas. If we made it a scheduled thing (we know nothing gets done unless it is scheduled) and made tea and took time to just take three deep breaths and meditate this would be such an act of self love. I am trying to implement this into my life. In the last couple years I have come to appreciate and respect the art of making tea. There is so much research about meditation and how good it is for us, and there are so many benefits to tea, that we should just put them together!

I have been on hunt for a tea to raise your vibration. I have looked into the different frequencies of herbs and which have high ones and then how to blend them. And I have found one. It is so yummy when you make it warm for winter or over ice for summer. The color is so deep and beautiful and it has a very high frequency. Where you source the herbs and how they are grown matters as well.

I have found the company called Art of Tea, and noticed the quality and good vibrations they have as a company. They know how important it is to have high quality herbs to make teas. And the reverence and respect they have for tea makes their name really fit. Tea time is really an art! And something that should not have been lost. The frequency of this tea comes out at 900, based off of a scale from 0-1000.

Hibiscus Vibes

Raise your vibration and cover your taste buds with this beautiful amber colored, lively and refreshing blend of rosehips, guayusa and hibiscus flowers, highlighted by lingering notes of smooth lemongrass and perfectly balanced by the natural sweetness of fresh stevia leaves.

Ingredients:
  • Organic Hibiscus
  • Organic Guayusa
  • Organic Lemongrass
  • Organic Rosehips
  • Organic Stevia Leaf
Directions for steeping hot:

Bring 6-8 oz water to boil at 206F and steep 1 Tablespoon for 5-7 minutes.

Directions for steeping cold:

For iced tea you want to make a “concentrate” of the tea. You simply do half of the water and then pour over the amount of ice to make the amount you need. For example for an 8 oz cup: steep 1 Tablespoon of tea in 4 oz of water for 5-7 minutes. Then pour over ice to make a total of 8 oz. This tea has a medium caffeine amount.

TIPS
  • Do not over steep your tea. Follow and stick to the amount of time. I like my tea strong, but if you go over it will have a “bitter” flavor from the caffeine.
  • Good quality tea, you can re-steep 2-3 times, this tea you can re steep. I recommend going on the less side of minutes recommended the first steep if you are going to re-steep a tea.
  • Store tea in tin containers, light and oxygen will lessen the potency.
  • Best to steep in glass. I LOVE the coffee maker from IKEA. I stay away from plastic as much as I can, and I got this mason glass jar that has the oz on the side, plus it fits in cup holders!
  • I only sweeten with liquid stevia and honey. Careful! You only need 1 or 2 drops of stevia.
