When eating vegan or vegetarian, people are concerned first with their protein intake. Really, there are SO many ways to get in protein. The good thing about these proteins, is that they are easy for your body to break down and absorb. They also have a higher frequency and will not bring your vibration down. Our culture today has taught us for generations that we need a lot more protein than our bodies actually need. We do eat way too much of it.

I see this all the time when I do live blood analysis. The top thing that comes in most people I see, is a protein issue. Their blood is thick and it all sticks together. This causes lack of oxygen, tiredness, fatigue and build up in our bodies that forms uric acid crystals (gout) and a clogged liver. These things then end up causing more issues down the road. If we can cut down our protein intake, and make smarter choices with our protein intake, we can avoid a lot of health issues.

Here is an easy breakfast cereal packed with protein for you and it is easy to digest. It is made from three ancient grains and sweetened with coconut palm sugar. I make a mix and keep it in a container and bring it out in our rotations of breakfast ideas! So find yourself a container and fill it with:

Protein Hot Cereal Recipe
  • 3/4 cup Amaranth
  • 1/4 cup Quinoa
  • 1/4 cup Hulled Millet
  • 3 Tbsp Coconut Sugar
  • 1/4 tsp real salt, sea salt or pink salt

I get these all at my local health food store, (minus the sugar). Try to get organic if you can. My container fills up with this recipe four times. Yours will hold different depending on the size of the container you choose. Just keep adding till you fill it up. You will use 1-2 cups of the mix each time you use it. For a family of 5, I use 2 cups each time.

Here are your directions:

The ratio for mix to water is 2:1. If you are making 1 cup then you need two cups of water. If making 2 cups mix, then do 4 cups of water. You salt and sweetener are already added to your mix, so just boil your water and then add the mix. Bring back to a boil and then cover with a lid. Turn to low until all the water is absorbed and the grains are soft.

Serve with fresh almond milk or milk of choice. Top with fresh fruit and if you want it to be a little more sweet, drizzle with honey, agave or raw maple syrup. Enjoy!
